STYLE
The flip bun
You know that bun you throw your hair up into to cleanse at night? Yep, that’s the one. It’s trending – and not just in your bathroom. Bringing with it a kind of can’t-be-bothered cool-girl edge, try wearing it on occasions you’d normally put some effort into. Like for instance, a black-tie event or fancy girls lunch. CUT
High-textured bob
News flash: a bob doesn’t always have to be short and sleek. This summer, expect to see plenty of above-the-shoulder chops strutting around town. It’s the perfect length to add texture and choppy layers to, giving the illusion of more thickness and volume. Tick, tick. This lived-in look offers a playful alternative to the super structured style for a low maintenance, more carefree approach to mane taming.

Shullets
Otherwise known as the wolf cut, a shullet is an ode to the mullet, with a modern twist. With no definitive cut to categorise it, the shullet ranges from extreme and super short on top with length at the back, to a more subtle interpretation with choppy layers creating the illusion or silhouette of the style, meaning you don’t have to go full Joe Dirt on your mane.
